Full-Service EV Charging Installs, Repairs & Upgrades—Handled In-House, Start to Finish

EV Charging Installation, Repair & Maintenance for Infrastructure

Crigger Power builds EV charging infrastructure for clients who need more than a plug-and-play install. From site prep and trenchless conduit runs to charger placement and long-term service, we handle every step in-house with zero handoffs. Whether you’re outfitting a commercial lot, EV fleet hub, or public charging station, our crews keep the job tight, safe, and code-compliant.

We install Level 2 and DC fast charging systems for businesses, municipalities, and industrial facilities across the U.S. No delays, no outsourcing—just clean, on-spec electrical utility work designed to keep your chargers running.

If you’re planning a new EV site or upgrading your current one, Crigger Power delivers the trenching, conduit, and charger installs that power it all.

EV Charging Boring FAQs

We primarily use trenchless methods like horizontal directional drilling (HDD), auger boring, or pilot tube systems for EV charging conduit. These allow us to install electrical pathways underground without cutting up sidewalks, curbs, or drive lanes—especially in commercial, retail, or industrial lots where downtime and disruption need to be avoided. The goal is to reach your electrical panel, transformer, or stub-out point with minimal surface disturbance.

The boring method depends on soil conditions, conduit size, access points, and grade requirements. In stable soils with long straight shots, HDD is typically preferred for its speed and directional accuracy.

For shorter runs or areas with rigid space constraints, jack and bore or pilot tube boring may be more appropriate. Our crews assess each jobsite and select the method that gives you clean pulls and precise results on the first attempt.

We determine bore depth based on the type of charger, conduit requirements, and code compliance:

  • Standard Depths: Range from 18–36 inches, suitable for most EV conduit in commercial parking lots or sidewalks
  • Deeper Installs: May be required under driveways, roads, or when additional frost protection is necessary
  • Code Compliance: We ensure NEC minimum depth, GFCI protection, and utility clearance based on municipal regulations
  • Slope Control: For sites requiring drainage or shallow trench profiles, we maintain bore angle to prevent water retention or conduit damage

We always verify underground utility clearances with 811 locates and scan tight areas using GPR before launching any bore.

Yes—and we do it daily. Parking lots, sidewalks, and landscaped areas are some of the most common surfaces we bore under for EV charging conduits. These surfaces can’t be easily trenched without major disruption or repaving, which makes trenchless boring the fastest, cleanest solution. Crigger Power drills beneath them with pinpoint control, ensuring your project stays on grade and on schedule.

We’ve worked with properties ranging from national retail chains and public agencies to warehouse fleets and local businesses. Our in-house crews use bore profiles that preserve ADA compliance, limit surface restoration, and keep existing pavement untouched. That’s especially important when the charger is being added to an existing lot that’s already striped, paved, or in daily use. We don’t shut your site down—we just get in, bore it clean, and get power where you need it.

We match bore and conduit sizes to the project’s current load demand and long-term expansion needs:

  • ¾” to 2″ Conduit: Common for single Level 2 chargers or small commercial setups
  • 2″ to 4″ Conduit: Typical for high-amp circuits, Level 3 (DC fast charging), or multi-port station installs
  • 4″+ Sleeves: Installed when future expansion or fiber/power redundancy is expected
  • Pull Strings & Junction Boxes: Can be added to allow for future upgrades without reboring

By planning the right bore and conduit profile from the start, we help reduce long-term infrastructure costs and avoid the need for future digs.

Crigger Power can be your boring subcontractor—or your full-scope underground utility partner. While many clients come to us for just the bore path and conduit pull, we’re fully equipped to take on trenching, panel upgrades, conduit installation, subpanel tie-ins, and even utility coordination. This end-to-end capability means you don’t have to schedule three different contractors just to get an EV station online.

Everything we do is handled in-house. That means no waiting on subcontractors, no finger-pointing if there’s a delay, and no questions about who’s responsible for which part of the job. Whether we’re boring beneath concrete or handling the full charger site prep, we bring our own crews, our own drills, and our own schedule—so your EV charging project moves forward without excuses.
